Mash bananas until smooth. Stir in melted butter, honey, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
Fold dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
Add any optional mix-ins and pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake 45–50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
