Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip chicken in beaten egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Sear chicken in olive oil for 3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Place in baking dish, top with marinara and mozzarella.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and chicken is cooked through.
