Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans tuna in oil drained very well
  • cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ tsp black pepper add more to taste
  • 1 –2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper any color
  • 1 –2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or dill
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Drain tuna well and flake with a fork in a large bowl.
  2. Add onion, red bell pepper, parsley, lemon juice, mayo, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir until creamy and evenly combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Chill 15–20 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, swap mayo for Greek yogurt or a mix of both.
  • Add diced celery or pickles for extra crunch.
  • Tuna in water works too, but tuna in oil adds more richness.
